Augustine Art @ Home, Week of April 6th

Hi everyone, welcome to my new art blog!  This is where I'll post activities and lessons for all you art students who want to participate from home.  I would invite you to follow my blog so that you get updates when something new is posted.  I will also send a weekly email to my school families with the newest activity and link.

Our first lesson is on nests and birds.  I hope you enjoy this set of videos.  I will be posting the last of the videos on Wednesday or Thursday of this week- so stay tuned for that one!

Supplies needed:
  • Clay.     I'll be using AMACO air-dry clay because that's what I have laying around.  You could use any that you have or could purchase some to use.  Crayola Model Magic is always a good option for small children.  If you are purchasing colored clay to use brown and white or just white would be great.  You'll need about one cup (6-8ounces) of clay.
  • Paint.  We're going to do some paint mixing- so I recommend red, yellow, blue, and white.  If you'd rather not get all of those: just brown and turquoise would be fine.
  • The rest of the materials you can find laying around the house and yard.   No shopping needed!
