Hi everyone, welcome to my new art blog! This is where I'll post activities and lessons for all you art students who want to participate from home. I would invite you to follow my blog so that you get updates when something new is posted. I will also send a weekly email to my school families with the newest activity and link.
Our first lesson is on nests and birds. I hope you enjoy this set of videos. I will be posting the last of the videos on Wednesday or Thursday of this week- so stay tuned for that one!
Supplies needed:
- Clay. I'll be using AMACO air-dry clay because that's what I have laying around. You could use any that you have or could purchase some to use. Crayola Model Magic is always a good option for small children. If you are purchasing colored clay to use brown and white or just white would be great. You'll need about one cup (6-8ounces) of clay.
- Paint. We're going to do some paint mixing- so I recommend red, yellow, blue, and white. If you'd rather not get all of those: just brown and turquoise would be fine.
- The rest of the materials you can find laying around the house and yard. No shopping needed!
